What is AGENCY????

Hey kids,
 I just recieved an excellent question from our Blog comment section!!
      
   ¨What is Agency?¨

 For a long time in PYP we have been identifying ourselves as inquirers, people who always ask questions and show great personal interest in knowing more , even if the teacher or mom & dad do not ask!!! 

 However in  recent years the PYP has slightly improved after considering that YOU, the learners have so much more power and ability to accomplish change in this world besides just being knowledgable. 
Be informed, be thinkers but also feel impowered to take action.

 Our job as teachers is to encourage you to believe and do, just that!! 
1. You have a powerful voice! (You should be heard!)
2. You have a choice! (You will learn and make the best choices, leaving the most positive impact.)
3. Ownership!! (Responsibility for your words, work and action!)

 You are super-agents of your own future!!


 After reviewing this, let´s take a few mintues in class to discuss AGENCY!
