2. Pollution (related to water)
3. Industrial use & waste
4. Conservation (Laws, Organizations (including NPO´s)
5. Global Warming
6. Endangered Wetlands (Impact)
Begin your investigation by using the key concepts,
FORM, CONNECTION AND RESPONSIBILITY

- What are the causes?
- What is the impact on the environment and living things?
- What activities are affected?
- Action- What possible solutions can you consider being part of?
2. Choose an organization and research... (once again refer to your key conecpts to guide/develop your answers)
- Why was it founded?
- What do they do to help? (private or public institution)
- Who do they help?
- How does it work?
-Brainstorm an idea for a way to support your organization, which actions can you make to promote, support the cause and more importantly work towards a solution?
3. Final element- group sharing activity
After your groups have completed your research, work together with a team (jigsaw activity) and share your findings via brainstorming, table, etc.
Please gather-include this data in your notebooks!
*Assessment tool (Checklist or Rubric ) should be used as a reference, will be included here in the blog and in your notebooks.)

NEWSPAPERS FOR KIDS
Hey kids,
We have been reading newspapers, learning about many different things going on around us.
Here is a little review of some details we have been looking at. We need to review this since we will write our own newspaper for 5th grade.
Can a newspaper include different types of writing? If yes, then where? Could you choose an article and try to identify the style?
